The first full performance of BOUNCE in New York City

BOUNCE The Basketball Opera performed its NYC Premiere on June 21st and 28th at Holcombe Rucker Park - Harlem. “Rucker- the most famous basketball court on the planet,” was recently named a National Monument. Every major NBA star has played there! And now, BOUNCE joins its history. The Rucker Pro Legends’ National Association of Each One Teach One, a youth development and mentoring program working against Gun Violence, is now celebrating its 58th year, and is partnering with Ardea Arts for the launch of BOUNCE at Rucker.

With a cast and crew of more than 45 people, packed bleachers, and a live band, BOUNCE at Rucker was a force that brought the community together to create an unforgettable night of Opera, Gospel, Rap, EDM, and pop music. Special guests included NBA icon William Henry “Smush” Parker III, and the voice + announcer of The Nets, Oliver “The Voice” Sedra.
